50 SoW will sell yummy sandwiches from different parts of the world, in 4" presentations, and original treats, in stores and for catering

Company Summary

Milford has Subway, Denver has Quiznos, Anchorage will have 50 SoW! We will sell 50 well known sandwiches from various parts of the world, in standard 4" presentations (vs 6-7" for competitors); and original treats and drinks. Our product presentation will be clean and simple, our stores will have a "feel good" atmosphere, and we will also have a strong focus on catering our products to businesses and other gatherings

    Idea promoter and Chairman

    senior executive at BP Alaska and serial entrepreneur. Left BP temporarily in 1999-2000 to found a travel dot-com company (TripChest), partnering with top dot-com service firms; also started an industrial filters distribution company (Green Air Quality); going back to his teenage years in Colombia, complemented his allowance with a yearbook photography business, doing magic shows for younger kids birthday parties, and selling Persian rugs

  • Angelina Lucia De La Torre
    Co-founder and General Manager

    studied Services Business Management and culinary arts. Has worked in food and drinks at Bogotá Hilton hotel, in customer service at the (Relais Chateaux) Charleston Hotel, as general services manager for one of the most exclusive shopping centers in Bogotá, and as a branch manager at the largest S&L corporation in Colombia (Davivienda). During 1999-2001 in Houston, managed our travel agency franchise (Travel Almanac dba Carlson Wagonlit Travel)

    María Camila (Maca) graduated early from high school, and is currently studying International Business, Business Management and Culinary Arts at UAA. Maca has worked as hostess of Bayou City Seafood & Past in Houston, TX, and as sales associate at Beyond Beads in Anchorage. She dreams of owning and managing a restaurant business with her sisters and parents

    Dani also graduated early from high school, and is currently studying Business Management and Culinary Arts at UAA. Dani currently works as sales associate at Beyond Beads in Anchorage. She dreams of owning and managing a restaurant business with her sisters and parents

  • Ana Sofia De La Torre
    Co-founder, administrator and service rep

    Anita is beginning 11th grade at South High School and is also very excited about working with her sisters and parents in 50 SoW. Anita turned 16 in September 12, 2011, and that same day she applied to work at Starbucks in the South Anchorage Target store. She was hired by Target as a seasonal employee, first working as a Target cashier and soon after at their Starbucks store when she successfully completed the required “Barista” training
