247 Action Auction was started to reduce the labor involved with digitizing used items that independent book, music, and video stores sell online. We developed an online database containing 10 million books, records, & CDs; an item input system utilizing barcode scanners; an e-commerce site that systematically auctions items; and an order processing system utilizing automated weighing and labeling of packages with customer delivery confirmation.
