Grains of Hope will specialize in therapeutic riding for children and adults who have suffered with tramatic events altering their lives such as abuse and neglect as well as PTSD and anxiety. Animal-assisted therapy has shown evidenced based improvements in patients with PTSD (including post war vets) depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, conduct disorders, dissociative disorders, and other chronic mental illnesses.
