The initial objective of the current R&D effort is a 3.375" diameter, 20K PSI, 175 DegC, wireline formation testing tool with a higher pumping capacity than currently available wireline service offerings. Improved performance within a slim design profile is achieved by permanent magnet motors and a direct drive pump design. New service offerings for fluid injection will be made possible, in addition to opening up the slim borehole market segment
