Jay MandalCEO and Founder
Jay is the CEO/Co-Founder of LawPivot. Prior to LawPivot, Jay was the lead M&A lawyer and a commercial law team member at Apple. He has over 9 years of experience as a corporate lawyer, including experience at the law firms of Pillsbury and Brobeck. He was also co-founder at IPpro, a patent outsourcing company. Jay holds a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, a B.A. in Economics from Stanford, and is a Fulbright Scholar.

Nitin GuptaFounder and VP of Business Development
Nitin is the Vice President of Business Development and Co-Founder of LawPivot. He was previously an intellectual property litigation lawyer at Townsend & Townsend & Crew, a top national intellectual property law firm, and worked at Applied Materials. Nitin holds a J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Davis.

Amit BakshiVP of Marketing
Amit is the VP of Marketing of LawPivot. He was a Product Marketing Manager at oDesk, responsible for customer acquisition. His role there encompassed online marketing, product management, and strategic positioning / evangelism. Amit was also Director of Marketing at Edubrite, an online training platform. Amit holds an M.B.A from the Kellogg School of Management, and a degree in EECS from Berkeley.

Steven KamVP of Engineering
Steven is the Vice President of Engineering of LawPivot. Prior to LawPivot, Steven worked at Silicon Valley startups as a software engineer and architect, and as an intellectual property litigation lawyer at Townsend & Townsend & Crew. Steven holds a J.D. and a double B.A. in Computer Science and Economics with Highest Distinction from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford.
