John Richardson (B.Sc. Math, LL.B) is a mathematician, lawyer and the inventor of Ethelo. He founded Ethelo as a nonprofit organization in 2011, and began developing the corporate arm in 2013. A serial entrepreneur, John was recognized as a world leading innovator by the Ashoka Foundation in 20015. His previous venture which he founded and led for 10 years is Pivot Legal Society, now one of Canada’s leading human rights organizations.

Dan Hathway (MBA) is a strategic management consultant with experience in integrating technology and business. Dan has worked worked internationally in a wide range of technology sectors including banking and telecoms, and ran a property development company. He has particular experience in sales and marketing, and a special interest in decision-making processes.

Sharon Wilkie is a CFO, administrator, and the founder of Glasshouse which provides financial, administrative support services, and small business consulting. She has provided consulting services to dozens of charities, from OpenMedia to the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre. Sharon is a graduate of Leadership Vancouver and served as CFO for the Canadian Paraplegic Association and Ecojustice.

Laura Williams is the lead developer of the Ethelo platform. A senior software engineer with 15 years experience in crowdsourcing, Laura has built ten different collaboration platforms to engage the wisdom of groups. She has also worked as a senior developer with Chaordix, Mobio and Mogo Money.
