Company Summary

To teach silkscreen printing technique basics through hands-on instruction that will meet for four (4) consecutive weekends. At the end of the course each participant will have completed at least one screen and print. Cost for supplies will be included in tuition.

    Sherman Crawford is a master silkscreen artist, printer and instructor working in the industry for over 34 years. Starting at The High School of Art & Design, he continued his studies at Pels School of Art and Parsons School of Design. Sherman has worked as master silkscreen printer and instructor at Harlem Silkscreen Industries for 10 years and at Harlem Textile Works on and off for the last 21 years and as instructor at Studio Mus
