Shaping the future of health care by uniting promising innovators with the best minds in science and medicine at the member institutions of the Texas Medical Center.

About this Program

The TMCx Accelerator is a six-month program for early-stage medical device and digital health start-ups from around the world, designed to drive meaningful relationships between the best emerging technology and our Texas Medical Center institutions and corporate partners.

Throughout the program, companies are set up for success through a tailored curriculum and one on one meetings with our extensive advisor network. Here, they will gain insights in every facet of running a health-related business, from clinical trials and FDA regulations to procurement, intellectual property, and fundraising and everything in-between. Participants have a chance to refine their business and clinical strategies and continue to iterate and validate their solutions with seasoned executives, clinical leaders, and subject matter experts.

TMCx is tailored to support companies who have demonstrated proof of concept to pilot, codevelop, and scale with multiple partners. The TMC Innovation team collaborates with each medical device or digital health company through strategic introductions across the world’s largest medical complex. Embedded industry and academic partners provide world class strategic insights on the pathways to market. Startups that experience TMCx expect success.
