About this Program

The bootstrap is THE PLACE TO BE to give life to entrepreneurial ideas of SKEMA students from Raleigh campus !
Mentors will challenge you and make sure you will find the right way to leverage your business opportunities. You will find out how to design a solid value proposition and produce and deliver it profitably through the right business model!

Day 1
8:30 – 9:00 : Kick-off and introduction of the BOOTSTRAP
9:00 – 10:00 : Pitch your entrepreneurial idea
10:15 - 10:45 : Defining the value proposition
10:45 - 12.30 : Practice and coaching
Day 1 Deliverables: First draft of the Value Proposition slides
18:30 – 20:30 Dinner with Entrepreneur Guest

Day 2
8.30 – 9:30 : Pitches of the value proposition
9.30 – 10:00 : From the value proposition to the business model
10:15 – 1:00 : Practice and coaching
Free time for lunch
14:00 – 14:45 : Testimonial from an entrepreneur
14:45 – 18:30 : Practice and coaching (cont.)
Day 2 Deliverables: Fine-tuned business model

Day 3
8:30-9:00 : Setup and Coffee
9:00-9:15 : Welcome jury members
9:15 – 12:00 : Final pitch of the business plan in front of the on-line jury
12:00 – 12:30 : Feedback from the jury
12:30 – 12:45 : Wrap-up and seminar conclusion with box lunches
12:45 – 1:30 : Lunch and networking with jury and students

Coaching methods:
The Bootstrap will emphasize iterative construction of the different steps of the business plan with daily pitches and feedbacks from professionals as well as peer trainees.
Action learning will structure the training in order to leverage cross-fertilization between participants.
Testimonials from entrepreneurs will also enable experience sharing on the entrepreneur’s curriculum.
Coaching will be in English.
