Startups Connected - Germany (DWIH)

The German-Brazilian Chamber of Industry and Commerce has the goal to promote business between German and Brazilian companies.

In celebration to its Centennial, the German-Brazilian Chamber in São Paulo launched in 2016 the Startups Connected Initiative.

This initiative focuses on all activities destined to startups and consists of an award (German-Brazilian Startups Award), an Acceleration Program (AHK Startups Accelerator) and a sole association category for startups (AHK Startups Hub), among others.

This year we have the Germany category, which is directed exclusively to all German startups that fall into one (or more) of these categories:

Artificial Intelligence - focuses on a solution for Predictive Maintenance that can reduce downtime due to failures or breaks, increase the life of machines and equipment, and reduce preventive and corrective maintenance costs.

B2Bank - focuses on solutions that aim to optimize and/or improve the consumer experience with BMG Uptech digital platforms.

Cities of the Future - focuses on solutions to improve society life’s quality, in view of some of the challenges of large cities. Focus points of this category are clean environment, drinkable water, sewage, and industrial effluent treatment, and finally, balanced, and healthy food.

Connectivity - focuses on solutions for cars, which aim to improve vehicle efficiency and users experience.

Electromobility - focuses on innovative solutions to promote the technological development of electromobility with a focus on urban mass transit and urban point-to-point transport.

Industrial Excellence - focuses on solutions to demonstrate and simulate industrial processes, control and reduce energy consumption and other inputs present in manufacturing processes and remotely measure and diagnose machines and equipment.

Digital Government - focuses on digital solutions to offer greater transparency and better services to citizens.
