Acercamos un nuevo mercado para todas aquellas startups con sede en Iberoamérica que buscan la expansión clave de sus negocios.

La AIM Global Foundation, una innovadora organización internacional con sede en los Emiratos Árabes Unidos (EAU) organiza anualmente el AIM Congress, evento que ofrece exposición a conocimientos de vanguardia, una amplia gama de negocios, y oportunidades para establecer contactos con varias entidades del ecosistema emprendedor de los EAU, y los países del Golfo Pérsico.

Durante la 13ª edición del AIM Congress, programada del 7 al 9 de mayo de 2024 en Abu Dabi, Emiratos Árabes Unidos, se llevará a cabo una competencia de pitches global en el marco del AIM Startup.

¿Qué significa para Iberoamérica?

Este año, ParqueTec organiza en alianza con la AIM Global Foundation, el Startup Iberoamérica Challenge 2024, competencia regional para seleccionar a las 3 startups que representarán a la región en el Demo Day de AIM Startup, y tendrán acceso a la competencia internacional en Abu Dabi, con el objetivo de iniciarlos en los procesos de levantamiento de capital con VCs regionales, e internacionalización en países de la región del Golfo durante el marco del evento.

El Demo Day de AIM Startup contará con las categorías Pre-Seed y Seed, donde las empresas ganadoras del evento obtendrán:

Categoría Pre- Seed:

1° Lugar: Premio de $15,000 USD en efectivo
2° Lugar: Premio de $10,000 USD en efectivo
3° Lugar: Premio de $5,000 USD en efectivo

Además del premio en efectivo, tendrán la oportunidad de ser asesoradas por expertos de la industria y maximizar su potencial en otros mercados e inversionistas de talla mundial.

Categoría Seed:

1° Lugar: Premio de $15,000 USD en efectivo
2° Lugar: Premio de $10,000 USD en efectivo
3° Lugar: Premio de $5,000 USD en efectivo

Además del premio en efectivo, tendrán la oportunidad de ser asesoradas por expertos de la industria y maximizar su potencial en otros mercados e inversionistas de talla mundial.

Buscamos empresas en etapa pre- seed y seed de las siguientes verticales:
- AgTech.
- EdTech.
- FinTech.
- HealthTech.
- RetailTech.
- SalesTech.
- Ciberseguridad.
- Internet de las Cosas.
- Inteligencia Artificial.
- Realidad Virtual.
- Tecnología Vestible.

Para participar, podrás postular del 15 de enero al 1 de marzo de 2024.

De ser una de las 20 startups finalistas, tendrás que cubrir el costo de la entrada a la competencia regional (100 USD), para ser acreedor a participar en el Demo Day Regional, donde el Consejo de Evaluación e Inversión del Startup Iberoamérica Challenge elegirá al primero, segundo y tercer lugar, con los siguientes premios:

- [ ] Primer Lugar: Vuelo redondo desde la ciudad donde se encuentre, a Dubái/Abu Dabi, alojamiento en un hotel de 4 estrellas por 4 noches, quiosco de exhibición dentro de AIM Congress 2024, acceso al programa de conferencias de startups y oportunidades de networking.

- [ ] Segundo Lugar: Alojamiento en un hotel de 4 estrellas por 4 noches, quiosco de exhibición dentro de AIM Congress 2024, acceso al programa de conferencias de startups y oportunidades de networking.

- [ ] Tercer Lugar: Quiosco de exhibición dentro de AIM Congress 2024, acceso al programa de conferencias de startups y oportunidades de networking.

Si tu startup no fue seleccionada dentro de los 3 primeros lugares, aún puedes unirte a la delegación de startups que participarán en el Demo Day de AIM Startup (competencia global), con el beneficio del 10% de descuento en el ticket.

Esta participación incluye:

2 metros cuadrados de quiosco de exhibición.
Pantalla LED.
Participación en el Demo Day de AIM Startup, donde se presentarán frente a jueces e inversionistas internacionales.
2 pases para conferencias de startups.

We bring a new marketplace to all Ibero-America-based startups looking for key business expansion.

The AIM Global Foundation, an innovative international organization based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) organizes the annual AIM Congress, an event that offers exposure to cutting-edge knowledge, a wide range of business, and networking opportunities with various entities in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the UAE, and the Persian Gulf countries.

During the 13th edition of the AIM Congress, scheduled for May 7-9, 2024 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, a global pitch competition will be held as part of the AIM Startup.

What does it mean for Ibero-America?

This year, ParqueTec is organizing in partnership with the AIM Global Foundation, the Startup Iberoamerica Challenge 2024, a regional competition to select the 3 startups that will represent the region at the AIM Startup Demo Day, and will have access to the international competition in Abu Dhabi, with the objective of initiating them in the process of raising capital with regional VCs, and internationalization in countries of the Gulf region during the event.
AIM Startup Demo Day will feature Pre-Seed and Seed categories, where the winning companies of the event will get:

Pre-Seed Category:
- 1st Place: $15,000 USD cash prize.
- 2nd Place: $10,000 USD Cash Prize
- 3rd Place: $5,000 USD cash prize.

In addition to the cash prize, they will have the opportunity to be mentored by industry experts and maximize their potential in other markets and world-class investors.

Seed Category:

- 1st Place: $15,000 USD cash prize.
- 2nd Place: $10,000 USD Cash Prize
- 3rd Place: $5,000 USD Cash Award

We are looking for pre-seed and seed stage companies in the following verticals:

- AgTech.
- EdTech.
- FinTech.
- HealthTech.
- RetailTech.
- SalesTech.
- Cybersecurity.
- Internet of Things.
- Artificial Intelligence.
- Virtual Reality.
- Wearable Technology.

To participate, you can apply from January 15 to March 1, 2024.

If you are one of the 20 finalist startups, you will have to cover the entry fee to the regional competition (100 USD), to be eligible to participate in the Regional Demo Day, where the Evaluation and Investment Council of the Startup Iberoamerica Challenge will choose the first, second and third place, with the following prizes:

- First Place: Round trip flight from your home city to Dubai/Abu Dhabi, 4-star hotel accommodation for 4 nights, exhibition kiosk inside AIM Congress 2024, access to the startup conference program and networking opportunities.

- Second Place: 4-star hotel accommodation for 4 nights, exhibition kiosk at AIM Congress 2024, access to the startup conference program and networking opportunities.

- Third Place: Exhibition kiosk at AIM Congress 2024, access to the startup conference program and networking opportunities.

If your startup was not selected within the top 3 places, you can still join the delegation of startups that will participate in the AIM Startup Demo Day (global competition), with the benefit of a 10% discount on the ticket.

This participation includes:
2 square meters of exhibition kiosk.
LED screen.
Participation in the AIM Startup Demo Day, where they will present in front of international judges and investors.
2 startup conference passes.

Important dates:
- Open call from January 15 to March 1, 2024.
- Period of evaluation, allocation and quota coverage: March 1 to 15, 2024.
- Regional Demo Day: March 19 (virtual format).
