Sony Startup Acceleration Program for Early Stage Startups - Autumn Batch 2019

An 11-week accelerator program with evaluation of investment and collaboration opportunities

If you have an early-stage startup or idea you want to develop and are based in Europe, you can apply to be a part of the Sony Startup Acceleration Program for Early-Stage Startups. Startups will be accepted onto the next batch starting 30 September to 12 December 2019.

Sony is a global company, with expertise in technology and new business development, so all ideas which could benefit from Sony’s support are welcome.
If you’re accepted onto the program, you will be mentored by internal Sony experts and external partners from the startup ecosystem and many activities will be available to you, such as:

Masterclasses (lectures and workshops facilitated by our external partners from the startup community)
Mentor
Workshops
Professional support
Team development
Networking
Business modelling
Pitching

In the program, you will be challenged in terms of your business model, get extensive business support and will leave the program with a more focused offering.
This program is free-of-charge. During the program, we will have the chance to evaluate if mutual interest exists for further business opportunities together, including investment opportunities.

Teams need to be able to be physically present at Sony’s offices in Lund, Sweden for some days every week during the entire period of the program. Sony does not provide relocation, travel, food or accommodation expenses.

Startups on the program might also get the opportunity to present their idea to our Sony Startup Acceleration team members and others in Tokyo.
