Black Business Pitch Competition by Sonder Impact | Fall 2022

The Black Business Pitch Competition by Sonder Impact is a prize competition that provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative products, technologies, or services in particular industries.

For Fall 2022, eligible applicants consist of founders who are members of a group that has been traditionally underrepresented in the receipt of startup funding, who are building specifically in the Consumer Products space.

To enter the Competition, there is a non-refundable registration fee ($39 early bird through October 6th, $49 after). This fee includes entry to Round 1 of the Black Business Pitch Competition and admission to the live pitch competition on October 27, 2022.

Up to 10 finalists will be selected to move forward to Round 2 and participate in a live pitch competition on Thursday, November 3rd at Sip & Sonder, a coffee roastery and coffeehouse in Inglewood, CA, where a panel of expert judges will award a total of $5,000 to three prize winners. The grand prize winner will receive $3,000, the second place winner will receive $1,500, and the third place winner will receive $500. All winners will have the opportunity to access not only growth capital, but also pitch feedback, and entrepreneurial training.
