PwC are launching the Scale | Thames Valley programme, based in Reading, in May 2018.

The Programme

The Thames Valley is a rapidly developing region for entrepreneurs and scale-up businesses, with a thriving technology market and ecosystem. For this reason we’ve located our National Technology Industry Hub in Reading, which brings the best of PwC to our technology clients, enabling us to share and pool knowledge, industry insight and best practice. The aim is to connect fast growth, technology enabled, scale-ups to key decision makers within insurance companies. This is specifically tailored for companies approaching Series A or beyond, with validated products, finance and scalability. The programme will help companies gain traction, source commercial opportunities and investment through introductions to decision makers, large organisations and within PwC, underpinned by a sales-focused business curriculum.

- Meet our extensive network of corporate decision makers, budget holders and influencers to identify and increase sales opportunities.
- Obtain introductions to potential corporate pilots and partnerships and support from PwC on your technology implementation.

Expert masterclasses

THE PROCESS

If your application is successful, you will be invited to submit further documents, followed by an interview, and a meeting with PwC. We will then be in touch let you know whether you have been accepted.

THE COMMITMENT

Each programme will run for 12 weeks, and comprises of at least 3 pitching events (an Executive Evening, an Investor Day and a Showcase Evening) where your CEO will need to be present to pitch in front of 3 different communities; our corporate executive network, our investor network and senior PwC partner and directors. A member of your team may also want to attend our 2 two-hour opt-in workshops per week. There is a fixed programme fee of £5,000 + VAT.
