About this Program

The Newcomer Entrepreneur Accelerator Program is a 6-month program partially supported by funding from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP). This program is designed to help promising Canadian technology companies founded by newcomers to grow and scale.

A newcomer is defined as anyone who has obtained permanent residency or citizenship and has lived in the country for less than 15 years.


Who Are You?

✔ Canadian technology-based company engaged in the development of intellectual property for their product.
✔ Have demonstrated traction, either through sales, prior investments and grants, or user growth, contingent on the industry.
✔ Minimum 50% of the company owned by new Canadian citizen(s) or permanent resident(s)
Fewer than 500 employees
