Mining Lab is a program to stimulate open innovation and entrepreneurship that seeks solutions to the challenges of the mining industry along with start-ups. This is an initiative of Nexa, a global mining player listed on the New York (NYSE) and Toronto (TSX) exchanges that is part of one of Latin America's largest industrial conglomerates, Votorantim.

Nexa launches the second edition of the Mining Lab program in search of projects that provide innovative solutions to challenges on the fronts of Logistics, Industrial Automation, Internet of Things / Information Technology, Circular Economy and Mineral Concentration in its operations in Brazil and Peru.

The total benefits of the program are estimated at US $ 2,400,000 (two million, four hundred thousand US dollars). The program does not seek any corporate counterpart of start-ups. (Equity free)
