The MedTech Actuator Accelerator Program is Australia’s first 15-month accelerator for early-stage MedTech startups. Applications open 10 January 2020!
This industry-led, VC-backed program will accelerate your technology development, build your team capability and provide a pathway to access up to $3m+ seed to series A investment – helping you deliver healthcare impact where it is needed most.
“THE PROGRAM PROVIDED A CATALYST TO ESTABLISH OUR TEAM, REFINE OUR STRATEGY AND RAISE CAPITAL.” -ALEX NEWTON, NAVI MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES
In our supportive cohort of up to 20 of the brightest emerging startups, you can achieve in 15 months what typically takes three years or more. The program will connect you with global startup pathways and can lead you into clinical trials, advanced manufacturing and at-scale technology deployment. Milestone momentum will be rewarded with multiple capital injection points, and industry experts will help you to develop a competitive edge for future capital raisings.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
In each of the first two months, you will undertake a 1-week sprint. Sprints involve workshops, panel sessions and mentoring with industry experts to refine your MedTech commercialisation strategy.
You will then spend 4 months in 1-2 day sprints and tailored 1-1 mentoring to prepare for your Angel round investment raise.
“Down time” between sprints and mentoring will involve implementing your plan, with rigorous mentoring support.
The remaining 9 months will involve market-focused scale-up, working with mentors and industry experts to execute commercialisation strategies and prepare for your series A investment round.
