The city has strengths in advanced manufacturing, agri-food processing, digital creative and tech, life sciences, and film production.

London is located along the busiest trade superhighway in North America with access to 3 border crossings within a 2-hour drive. This allows for easy and convenient access to the U.S. market.

For investment, London offers cost-competitive fully-serviced industrial land priced at $200K/ acre with the unique incentive of ZERO development charges for manufacturers. London is also the only municipality in North America that has redundancy in their water supply by drawing from 2 freshwater sources (Lake Huron and Lake Erie).

London is attractive for agri-food companies as it is surrounded by 35,000 farms to provide a strong local supply chain.

London is home to The Grove, a unique federally-funded incubator and accelerator for scaling agri-food and agri-tech companies. The space allows for collaboration and sharing of resources to help companies grow quickly.

The region has an abundant pool of skilled workers. London’s annual enrolment in Colleges and Universities exceeds 60,000 and the region boasts 25 research institutions working to support industry.
