About this Program

Tampa Bay Wave’s LatinTech Accelerator program, powered by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), is a technology business accelerator program designed for early stage tech companies that are 50%+ owned, controlled and operated by Latino or Latina entrepreneurs.

Based in Tampa Bay, this program is looking to attract national and international startups, further elevating the incredible momentum of the Tampa Bay (and Florida) Business & Technology ecosystem. Companies are not required to be based in Tampa, and the program is anticipated to run roughly 100 days starting the week of November 13, 2023, concluding on February 29, 2024.

While there will be continuous programming over the course of the ~100 days, intensive blocks of programming will be concentrated over 2-4 days per month (with two in-person weeks and two virtual weeks) focused on topics that are pertinent for the founders and CEOs of high-growth potential technology startups.

Programming content will be provided by subject matter experts on topics such as Financial Modeling, Venture Capital, Family Office Funding sources, Enterprise SaaS Sales, Marketing, M&A, Public Relations, and more.

Speakers include Subject Matter Experts and Serial Entrepreneurs including Venture Capitalists, Family Offices, Enterprise Executives and Leaders, Wave alumni, Financial Modeling experts, and more.

Outside of these intensive blocks, participants will have access to Wave’s 150+ strong mentor network, our LatinTech Advisory Council (made up of business leaders from some of the top companies in the United States as well as government leaders), and am Entrepreneur in Residence team made up of successful founders of Hispanic descent. Plus, given Tampa Bay’s rich Latin history and strong business community, participants will be provided networking opportunities and strategic connections to help accelerate their financial and critical business milestones.
