Iowa Startup Accelerator - Spring/Summer 2021

Iowa Startup Accelerator is an intensive, structured program for Iowa’s entrepreneurs. All companies' principal place of business must be in Iowa by the time the program begins.

The Startup Accelerator program is a 14-week, full-time residential experience for pre-revenue or very early stage startups. 5-10 companies per cohort. Capital available: $25K for 6% equity, with $75K discretionary additional funding possible for qualified Growth Stage startups. The Startup Accelerator Program includes targeted development workshops (Agile, Business Development/Sales, Finance, Marketing etc...), cohort support and feedback sessions, coaching and mentoring with industry and subject matter experts, regular sprint reviews against growth and revenue goals, access to studio resources for website and marketing development.

Upon completion of the Accelerator Foundation and Growth programs, there are additional Scaleup & Expansion Accelerator programs for qualified startups that involve a 12-month commitment to work with ISA staff and mentors to build your business. Up to 5 companies in Scaleup, and 2 companies in Expansion per cohort. Capital available for Scaleup: $100-$250K; Expansion: $500K-$1M.
