IPHA offers an intensive, customized program on the campus of the INOVA Center for Personalized Health (ICPH) in Fairfax, VA. During the program, companies will work closely with the IPHA team to evolve initial stage prototypes to validated products, mature business models, and go-to-market plans for their healthcare technology solutions.

In contrast to most accelerator programs, the IPHA partners operate the program as an investment fund and focus on achieving specific milestones. We invest in companies on a rolling basis with new members capable of participating in the spring, fall or both training sessions. IPHA partner performance is linked to the return on investment delivered by the portfolio of IPHA companies.

Inova is a major healthcare system and research institution that serves more than two million people each year and has over 16,000 employees. Inova is the home to the Inova Heart and Vascular Institute (IHVI), Inova Translational Medicine Institute (ITMI), Inova Neuroscience Institute, Inova Schar Cancer Institute, Inova Children’s Hospital and the Inova Center for Personalized Health.

THE IPHA PROGRAM IS A HIGH-PERFORMANCE ACCELERATOR PROGRAM
IPHA redefines the concept of early stage accelerators by helping its companies develop and execute plans of action that achieve significant milestones in value creation, risk mitigation, and capital formation. The IPHA approach includes:

- A team of successful, entrepreneurial C-Suite executives that extend the existing management team to help the company execute its strategy and rapidly increase value.
- A $75,000 cash investment with C-Suite program services valued at $125,000 in return for a 10% equity position in the next funding round.
- A matching investment of up to $250,000 when the company meets pre-defined milestones and secures funding from a qualified investor(s) during the program, or up to 12 months after graduation from the IPHA program.
- Privileged access to the Inova Health System and an active network of strategic health system investors for potential product validation, early adoption, and future investment.

IPHA has a year-round, rolling application process, and will focus on a maximum of 6 companies at any time, in order to provide the individual attention that each company requires.

Candidate companies must be committed to dedicating time to the IPHA program located at the Inova Center for Personalized Health in Fairfax, VA. (However, companies do not have to relocate.)
