Social Impact Enterprises for the South Bronx

Impact Ventures is a 3 month social venture accelerator program in the Bronx. Impact Ventures is designed for social changemakers who have big ideas on how to create a better world for the Bronx and the world. We look for applicants who are passionate about creating a better world through their business. 

Program will run in the South Bronx.

- Workforce Development

WHAT YOU'LL GET:
- $10,000 prize
- Business training and curriculum

THE ENTREPRENEUR AND THE BUSINESS MEET THESE CRITERIA:
- Passionate about solving a problem in their neighborhood and the world
- Passionate about creating a better South Bronx
- You're a doer
- Entrepreneur of Color or Female preferred

TO GET THE MOST OUT OF THE PROGRAM, PARTICIPANTS ARE ASKED TO INVEST THEIR TIME TO ENGAGE IN THE FOLLOWING:
- Must commit to all 3 months of programming 
- Participate in out-of-class activities, including completing assignments, attending networking events and business
- support clinics (approx. 8 – 10 hours per week)
- Create a business growth plan over the course of the program

AFTER DEADLINE, YOU CAN STILL APPLY BUT IT WILL BE LOOKED AT ON CASE BY CASE BASIS
