Ignite Fire Pitch 2019

Women Shaping the Future of Healthcare

The Annual Fire Pitch Competition spotlights the nation’s best women-led digital health startups. We have built a platform that strengthens the healthcare innovation ecosystem by targeting the funding disparities between men and women.

Ignite Fire Pitch is unique as it pairs semi-finalists with their potential customers for a 10 week Customer Partner Program. Our Customer Partners include some of the country's most prominent health systems (comprised of hospitals, physician group practices, ACO's, provider-based insurance companies and other health related subsidiaries), provider organizations, mental health providers, payors, employee benefits consultancies and others. Our efforts are focused on providing access and collaboration opportunities to both start-ups and their customers. At the conclusion of the Customer Partner Program entrepreneurs will receive specific feedback from the Customer Partner and finalists will be chosen based on the feedback.

Finalists will then be paired with investor advisors and industry experts to prepare for the competition. Each finalist will also receive coaching from Accenture to perfect their pitches Customer Partners and Advisors are listed on the Ignite website (www.ignitehealthcare.org).

Finalists will receive an invitation to pitch to a group of healthcare executives from the Houston/Austin area including the world renown Texas Medical Center's facilities as well as investors from across the country on October 17th at IGNITE Healthcare Network's Third Annual Fire Pitch competition held at TMCx.

Finalists will compete for $200,000 in prizes along with other perks to help accelerate growth. In order to qualify, companies must have at least one female in an executive role: founder, CEO, COO, CTO, or CMO, and be operating for twelve months or more. All entries must be received by June 15, 2019 in order to qualify.
