About this Program
Tampa Bay Wave has partnered with some of the top thought leaders in the cybersecurity industry in order to launch the CyberTech|X Accelerator, a highly specialized 100% remote 90-day accelerator program exclusively for innovative and disruptive technology startups focused on cybersecurity.
In the program's first year, exciting cybersecurity and securetech companies from throughout the United States and abroad matriculated into the program. Notable names included Phylum (greater Denver, CO), Refactr (Seattle, WA, Acquired by Sophos), Castle One (Madison, WI, Acquired by Arch Access Control), Gridlock (London, England), and more.
A critical differentiator for the Cybertech|X program is the Advisory Council, made up of industry experts from large corporates, the US military/govt, as well as fast-moving latter stage startups. The council has angel and VC investors involved, as well as coverage from/deep ties to the following organizations:

Tampa Bay Wave is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and takes no equity from participating companies. Funding for this program is primarily provided by our generous CyberTech|X foundational partners: A-LIGN, Ernst & Young, KnowBe4, as well as from Bellini Better World. Top cybersecurity experts from these companies, as well as from Cyber Florida, the University of South Florida, Jabil and more, who will provide hands-on coaching and mentoring throughout the program.
The CyberTech|X Accelerator is designed to provide the most promising cybersecurity startups with the tools and connections they need to achieve high-scale growth. Participants will benefit from intensive mentoring, peer relationship-building, investor coaching, as well as key introductions to investors and other business opportunities.
