About this Program
The Canadian AI Market Accelerator will help Canadian startups evaluate and prepare for expansion into the Washington state and the United States markets.
This hybrid accelerator will include a mix of virtual curriculum, introductions, mentorship, culminating with in-person programming at Seattle AI Week (Oct 27-31, 2025). The program will help up to 6 Canadian AI technology companies unearth business opportunities in the U.S. Pacific Northwest.
Who is it for?
The trade mission is designed for Canadian AI technology companies that are export ready or currently doing business in the United State, and looking to further expand and explore growth opportunities in the U.S. Pacific Northwest.
What are the benefits?
Participants will gain a better understanding of the innovation and AI ecosystem in the U.S. Pacific Northwest, through briefings with technology leaders and institutions in the region. Participants will also receive curated B2B introductions to potential customers, investors, and technology partners. The program will culminate with participants joining Seattle AI Week (Oct 27-31, 2025) to leverage in-person networking events, B2B meetings, and roundtables.
What are the Costs?
This program is funded through the Consulate General of Canada in Seattle. While there is no cost in joining the program, Trade Mission participants are responsible for travel and accommodation costs.
Note: Application questions will be shared with local partners including the Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA) to identify B2B meeting opportunities for participants and inform program development. Do not include proprietary or sensitive information in your application.
