Ready to become the next-gen startup shaking up the bakery industry?

At Europastry we launch Baking the Future Challenge 2019 a stake for innovation in the bakery industry scouting for the most outstanding and promising startups capable of deliver disruptive and quick solutions to the forward-looking challenges set by the corporation.

Challenges posed are:
1. Improve affordability to bread by final consumer using tech solutions in the e-commerce platforms and distribution optimization scope granting the most efficient bread delivery to final consumers.
2. Improve consumer experience with tech solutions focus on traceability, ending promotion and deliver final product to both retail and final consumer with particular focus on logistics, packaging and product preservation along supply change.
3. New products ideation to satisfy new consumers demands including new ingredients and formats satisfying new consumption needs.

Baking the future Challenge 2019 will be taking place in Barcelona where final candidates will pitch their product or solution to directors´ board. The Challenge will be held at Cereal, our innovation lab for a complete day where participant startups will attend a brief workshop to finalize pitches to be defended to the Evaluation Committee.

Due to the scope range we have designed some rewards according to the startups core businesses. If you are one of the Challenge winning startups you will be able to be assisted by:
* Design partner
We will make available our R&D department for you to develop, test and manufacture your product. If you deliver a tech solution, we will make available out R&D engineering department to collaborate in the development and necessary adjustments to your solution.
*Preferential agreements
Fancy to be able to use production, commercialization and distribution resources from our corporation?
*Potential corporate integration
If your product or solution meets our requirements in specific areas, we would potentially acquire it for portfolio integration.
* And potential investment in your startup!
And, again, if we detect potential interest in your production or solution, we will potential invest up to 100,000€.
