This investor event is a celebration of entrepreneurship that aims to bring together budding start-ups, experienced entrepreneurs, and our community of investors. Our event/competition will take place in two rounds:

Round 1 - Amplify - Nov 12, 2021

Amplify is an entrepreneurship pitch competition that aims to reward, and help investor-ready
Western ventures. Selected teams will be invited to pitch their venture to the judging panel.

The top five 'investment-ready teams from Amplify will have the opportunity to pitch to experienced investors and entrepreneurs at the Western Angel Demo Day.

Round 2 - Western Angels Demo Day - Dec 3, 2021

Five selected teams from Amplify will be invited to participate in WADD. Demo Day aims to
help founders looking for seed or pre-seed investment. The five teams will showcase their
business idea via a five-minute pitch to an investor group for a chance to gain seed funding for
their new business ventures.

Get Prepared:

The following is a list of questions and material that you will need to submit for your application:
- How many potential customers have you talked to? (Do not include friends, family or
colleagues)
- Total Equity Funding Received
- Total Debt Funding Received
- Total Grants Received
- Cumulative Funding and Investment to Date
- Cumulative Revenue Generated
- Number of Customers Served
- Average Price of your Product
- Executive Summary
