Desafio: Recuperação de finos na Mina de Serra Azul

Devido ao baixo volume de minério friável para extração presente na Mina de Serra Azul, faz-se necessário buscar iniciativas inovadoras que possam auxiliar na recuperação de minério presente tanto na mina, quanto nas pilhas de material estéril. Sendo assim, na mina como nas pilhas de material estéril fica confirmado que ainda existe material fino para extração, sendo possível buscar a recuperação do mesmo. Atualmente, somente nas pilhas de material estéril, ainda é possível separar aproximadamente 45% de minério fino, dividido entre produto com possível potencial de venda ou subprodutos.

Por fim, buscamos soluções que nos ajude a fazer a recuperação desse material fino presente nas pilhas de material estéril na Mina de Serra Azul.

Challenge: Recovery of fines in the Serra Azul Mine

Due to the low volume of friable ore for extraction present in the Serra Azul Mine, it is necessary to seek innovative initiatives that can assist in the recovery of ore present both in the mine and in the piles of sterile material. Therefore, in the mine as well as in the piles of sterile material it is confirmed that there is still fine material for extraction, being possible to seek its recovery. Currently, only in the piles of sterile material, it is still possible to separate approximately 45% of fine ore, divided between product with possible sales potential or by-products.

Finally, we look for solutions that help us recover this fine material present in the piles of sterile material at the Serra Azul Mine.
