At Positive Planet our mission is to help underserved communities succeed through entrepreneurship. We have partnered with Capgemini to launch a 12 week coaching program to help minority businesses turn their vision into a thriving business.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Positive Planet US has partnered with senior leaders at Capgemini to provide exclusive high-level coaching sessions to minority entrepreneurs.

This 12-week “Accelerator Hub” program will support 50 minority businesses through weekly coaching sessions. The entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to learn how to start and grow a business, sell their product or service, leverage social media and other marketing tools, apply for a business loan, and more customized for small business owners. Participants will also be offered access to special bonus sessions presented by key industry experts from exclusive partnerships.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are the criteria for selection? +
Applications are open to minority entrepreneurs across the United States with no formal graduate education in Business related courses and with a viable business idea or a business that is within the first six months of being established, provided projected profits do not exceed $1 million in the first year.

The entrepreneur should demonstrate their idea’s economic and social impact and plan to launch the business before 2024.
Note – Entrepreneurs should commit to sessions with coaches every week across different time zones, complete their weekly assignment and attend all mandatory bonus sessions to graduate from the program.

What is the process of selection? +
The top fifty startup finalists will be selected by the Positive Planet Board of Directors.

Who are the coaches and what will they coach me on? +
The coaches for the January, 2022 session of Positive Planet Accelerator Hub for Minority Entrepreneurs are senior leaders from Capgemini. Our program aims to address: the components of a business plan, sales strategy and business development, marketing strategy and social media, basic accounting and tax planning, and more, customized for small business owners

What happens after my business is selected among the top fifty? +
You will receive an email from Positive Planet US announcing that your project has been selected. A Positive Planet US volunteer will contact you with further information.
