As one of the fastest growing city-subsidized Accelerator Programs on the East Coast, with partners like IBM, Microsoft, Gust, Digital.NYC, and Investment partners, we're proud to be the first result-driven "non-equity" Accelerator Program in New York - and now in New Jersey.

Thank you for applying to 2020 Startups. Applicants qualify based on vision, unique offering, viability, potential and overall awesomeness. The application is free. You may apply at anytime however the enrollment deadline is May 15th.

Once reviewed you may be selected for an enrollment interview and upon being accepted for enrollment there is a participation fee of $2,500 that covers the 3 month program in full. This includes 3 months of workspace, accelerator program, executive workshops, program events, mentorships, investor relations, etc. 2020 Startups operates as a non-profit provider using the program payments for administration costs only and currently does not require equity from participants.

The Q3 Summer Program starts on June 5th, 2017 and ends on August 29th, 2017 with a Demo Day and Press Conference. Not all applicants must be early stage startups. Our subsidized program accepts Small Business Owners and Startups of all shapes and sizes due to the overall mission of 2020 Startups, our partners and our sponsors; to stimulate economic development by empowering entrepreneurs.

We work with 3 Startup stages:

1) Pre-startup: Needing marketing plans, branding strategies, incorporating, legal/financial assistance, structure set up and design for MVP

2) Mid-Startup: MVP Ready, Scale your business with business development experts, sales, PR, marketing, and partnerships.

3) Operational-Startup: Operationally achieved traction yet requires business development, press, partnerships and/or searching for seed or series A funding.

The accelerator program and program fee covers one representative from each Startup. Startups with student founders, coming outside the U.S or startups looking to join with more than one person should apply for the Bell Works NJ location. There is a ferry and shuttle service from our NY location to NJ location giving you access to both spaces.

At this time, due to limited space 2020 Startups is only accepting a small cohort of 10 participants. Applications will be reviewed and if you qualify a follow up interview will be scheduled at our office. Please answer each question to the best of your ability so that we can effectively evaluate your company. We will reach out within 48-72 hours of submitting this application.

Due to the high volume of applicants and program start date of June 5th we are only reviewing and interviewing applicants that can enroll immediately upon being accepted.
