Summer Accelerator Q3 2017

As one of the fastest growing city-subsidized Accelerator Programs on the East Coast, with partners like IBM, Microsoft, Gust, Digital.NYC, and Investment partners, we're proud to be the first result-driven "non-equity" Accelerator Program in New York - and now in New Jersey.

Thank you for applying to 2020 Startups. Applicants qualify based on vision, unique offering, viability, potential and overall awesomeness. The application is free. The deadline to apply is May 1st 2017. Upon acceptance, there is a participation fee of $2,500 due by May 15, 2017 and covers the 3 month program in full. This includes 3 months of workspace, accelerator program, executive workshops, exclusive events, mentors, investor relations and marketing lab services. 2020 Startups operates as a non-profit provider using the program payments for administration costs only and currently does not require equity from participants.

The Q3 Summer Program starts on June 5th, 2017 and ends on August 29th, 2017 with a Demo Day and Press Conference. Not all applicants must be early stage startups. Our subsidized program accepts Small Business Owners and Startups of all shapes and sizes due to the overall mission of 2020 Startups, our partners and our sponsors; to economically support and empower entrepreneurs in NYC.

We work with 3 major Startup stages:

1) Pre-startup: Needing marketing plans, branding strategies, incorporating, legal/financial assistance, structure set up and design for MVP

2) Mid-Startup: MVP Ready, Scale your business with business development experts, sales, PR, marketing, and partnerships.

3) Operational-Startup: Operationally achieved traction and searching for seed or series A funding or beyond.

The accelerator program and program fee covers one representative from each Startup. Startups with student founders, coming outside the U.S or startups looking to join with more than one person should apply for the Bell Works NJ location. There is a ferry and shuttle service from our NY location to NJ location giving you access to both spaces.

At this time, due to limited space 2020 Startups is only accepting a small cohort of 10 participants. Applications will be reviewed and if you qualify a follow up interview will be scheduled at our office.
