We fund promising female founders and mentor them as they create successful ventures. We aim to build a thriving investHER ecosystem for female founders.

We are an all-female investment fund serving women founders. As such, we fund business ideas that demonstrate a high potential for success but may not yet have robust market traction. Preliminary screening criteria are listed below.

Our funding decisions bear many factors in mind including commercial viability, the sustainability of market advantage, and founder experience. The best way to be considered for funding is by a warm introduction to our network via a xElle Ventures member or someone known and trusted by our network.  

Location
We are headquartered in North Carolina.

Stage
We focus on early-stage or growth-stage companies with a history of revenue from multiple unrelated customers with positive gross margins OR purchase orders or signed contracts received for products or services with a demonstrated gross profit at a unit or pilot/MVP level. 

Companies should have a demonstrated need to invest in business initiatives that will increase revenue, profitability, and cash flow.

Most companies we fund are seeking loans of $20K-$100K. We will invest in these companies through non-convertible debt financing. We expect the loan to be repaid within 2-3 years (not converted into equity) in either fixed quarterly payments, monthly revenue share payments or milestone payments.

Sectors

We do not have a specific sector focus but rather we invest in the team, however, it is essential that one of our investors have expertise in the focus of the company.
