We prefer opportunities where our coaching and our capital can catalyze growth. Our 100+ investor pool includes people with significant experience and capabilities in leadership, sciences, software, marketing, sales, strategy, capital formation and company growth. 

We prefer startups: 

- in Oregon, Washington, and nearby in Canada

- where a capable initial team is in place

- with proof of concept and some evidence of market traction

- focused on scalable growth and exit

- that has a credible chance of a 10X valuation increase

WVC has led investments of $3 million in startup companies. With our robust syndication network, our investments have been leveraged by $36 million in investments by others and through more than $5 million in revenues generated by the companies’ own operations following investment.

Recent investments have been in a variety of sectors - energy, software, robotics, medical, chemistry, apparel, cosmetics, and others. 

Portfolio companies include Agility Robotics, Cartogram, Diatomix, Dune Sciences, eChemion, Handful, Hemex Health, LeadMethod, Levrum Data Technologies, Moonshadow, Onboard Dynamics, TransformativeMed, Talkoot, and TougHer.
