We seek deals in the Wasatch Front of Utah, with a special focus on Utah and Salt Lake Counties. Davis and Wasatch Counties are acceptable as well. We do not want to see any deals outside the Intermountain West and we would be extremely hesitant to invest outside the State of Utah.
We are interested in all types of companies, with the natural venture propensity for high tech and life sciences. However, we will look at any business. We have a preference for a good mix of brand new start-ups and more emerging companies with revenue history.
An ideal investment for us would be one that has a relatively low capital need, has good management in place, and has a high exit industry (high multiple - 3X sales or better).
