Targeting pre-seed and seed startups, our focus is on delivering smart-money value. We’re committed to supporting teams, helping them succeed and progress to their next funding round. All participating teams receive feedback, introductions, and tailored support, regardless of final standing.
The event includes 3 rounds of pitching in a "winner takes all" format. The top startup secures a €100–200k investment. Up to 5 others may also receive funding on a case-by-case basis. Participation is capped at 80 startups, with all accepted applications starting directly.
This sector-agnostic virtual competition seeks startups ready to achieve meaningful milestones. Ideal candidates are nearing first revenue, have engaged teams, and show traction. Scalability is a key criterion. TAAC is often the first outside investment for founders. We welcome applicants from North America and greater Europe.
TAAC gathers 20–40 investors to form a fund of up to €200,000. These angels come from diverse backgrounds and bring a wide range of interests.
PROGRAM FLOW
- 1-minute pitch: ~60 startups
- 3-minute pitch: 24 startups
- 10-minute pitch: 12 startups
- Investor and startup coffee meetings
- Due diligence on 6 finalists
- Demo Day: Final public event announcing the winner
- Fund transfer
After each pitch day, investors select startups advancing to the next stage. The full process takes three months and fosters investor-startup collaboration through checks and feedback.
- Limited to 80 applications
- All participating startups begin do the 1-min pitch
- $115 symbolic application fee
- No carry or interest is taken
- Investors receive equity based on mutual agreement and valuation
STARTUPS CAN EXPECT
- All applications reviewed by angel investors
- Automatic acceptance (applications close after 80)
- 1-minute pitch + networking for all
- 24 startups: 3-minute pitch + Q&A + coffee meetings
- 12 semifinalists: 10-minute pitch + more investor time
- 6 finalists: 4-week due diligence, pitch training, media exposure
- Finalists pitch at an online public event with international audience
- Winner secures up to €200,000 in group investment
- All startups receive investor feedback
