Our Investment Focus

TiE Houston, and TiE Global, along with the Houston Angel Network, Houston Exponential, Station Houston, TMCx, and the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship proudly present The TiE Houston Venture Forum, where aspiring entrepreneurs have an opportunity to present their companies to angel investors.

Come pitch your plans to TiE Charter Members, Houston Angel Network, and other independent investors. There is no fee to apply, selected companies must commit to present in Houston on Saturday, January 20, 2018. Selected companies (at least one participant per company) are required to join as a General Member either with TiE Houston or their local city.

If selected to present at the Forum, companies will be assigned mentors and invited to attend a pitch boot camp.  Information on the selected companies will be sent to all investors prior to the event date.  On January 20, 2018, the companies will make a 30-minute presentation to all attending investors, and set up posters to enable additional interaction with interested investors.

In addition, all Forum applicants will be invited to attend a half-day workshop in November on "How to Pitch to Investors", co-hosted by the Houston Technology Center at the HTC premises.

Applicants are invited to apply by: October 29, 2017 by 11 PM

Note: This event will not be open to the public.  Attendees will include presenting companies, their mentors, and investors.  If you are interested in attending as an accredited investor, please contact Ana Rojas Bastidas for more information at ana.rojas@houston.tie.org.
