Our Investment Focus

Oxford Innovation's investment networks match companies seeking business angel finance with investors looking for quality investment opportunities. Alongside the networks OION has partnered with Innvotec to raise SEIS Funds. The next fund will be a blended EIS/SEIS fund.  We invest alongside others, mainly in companies that have pitched through our networks.  Companies should have advanced assurance of SEIS and/or EIS via HMRC.


Oxford Investment Opportunity Network Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. There are three networks all of which aim to link investors with high-growth potential businesses, providing a mechanism for companies to obtain funding and management expertise they need to grow successfully. OION, www.oion.co.uk was established in 1994 as one of the UK's first business angel networks. OION has interest in companies with strong barrier to entry. Today, OION is one of the Uk's most successful technology focused business angel networks. TVIN, www.tvin.co.uk was established in 2003 and targets companies in the region with a focus and companies are often looking for 'first mover advantage' as their competitive edge rather than relying on patented technology, usually with first sales. OEI, www.oxei.co.uk was launched in November 2004 to provide funding for early stage investment opportunities, Many OEI companies will qualify for SEIS and OEI is one of the very few networks that concentrate on this. The networks meet regularly for Showcase pitching events with companies from all three networks.  Typically companies will be looking to raise between £80k and £1500k.
