MEDIA DEALS is organising European Mediatech Investment Forums in various European countries. These events are an opportunity for entrepreneurs and investors to meet up and discuss investment and partnership opportunities.

The events are supported by the European Commission (DG CONNECT), as part of the policy to encourage the transfer of results from research to innovation.

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

The interested parties are now welcome to submit applications to be considered for the upcoming event.

Applications should be uploaded to the application platform by September 23, 2013 for the investment forum in Nantes, and by September 30 for the investment forum in Vilnius.

Please note that each application will be processed in full confidentiality.

Applications should ideally meet the following criteria. However submissions not meeting all criteria will not be disqualified:

- ICT based companies in the media and creative sector
- Start-up companies looking for early stage financing (up to 1M€)
- Preferably/Possibly funded under FP 7 programme
- Searching European/international equity financier
- High internationalization potential
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit

Successful candidates will be offered:

- Free-of-charge registration to the mediatech European Investment Forum and NEM Summit 2013 event in Nantes or ICT 2013 conference in Vilnius as well roundtables with the experts and investors
- Free-of-charge online training consultation with a media coach - to review pitch and presentations
- Free-of-charge participation cost (travel and accommodation) under a certain ceiling
- The opportunity to pitch in front of European investors selected to fit to each company’s profile and need for investment
- A platform to extend their business network
