This group is run for IMD alumni, by IMD alumni. IMD is a top-ranked international business school, providing Open Enrollment, Customized, MBA & EMBA programs.

This group is for investors among the members of IMD's Alumni Community on Entrepreneurship (ACE).

IMD Business School is located in Lausanne, Switzerland, and is one of the world's premier business and management institutions. Financial Times has ranked IMD first in executive education worldwide (2008-2015) and open programs worldwide (2012-2015).

IMDs alumni includes 80.000 executives in 140 countries, including 11.000 at board and C-suite level. IMD Business Angels is for investors among IMDs alumni and can potentially invest in all industries and locations. We are currently setting up the group.

The group is now open for both investors and entrepreneurs. However, it is still in an early phase and under development.

Investors

Investors among IMD's alumni are welcome to join the group. It is set up to facilitate sourcing and management of early-stage investments and collaboration between skilled investors among IMD alumni and promising entrepreneurs. We hope it can support our members in virtually all aspects of the investment relationship, from initial pitch to successful exit.

We have prepared sub-groups for a few IMD alumni hubs, and more can easily be created. The sub-groups can facilitate workflow through automated deal access and convenient messaging among members in the same location. As part of the larger IMD BA group, it is also easy to collaborate with investors in other loations, e.g. peers from your programs at IMD.

Entrepreneurs
We have now opened for funding application from entrepreneurs. The review process gives preference to:

• startups with IMD alumni or staff members as founders, employees or investors


• startups referred to us by IMD staff or alumni, and


• IMD Startup competition winner companies.

Affiliation

ACE Business Angels is run for IMD alumni, by IMD alumni, and is associated with the IMD Alumni Community on Entrepreneurship (IMD ACE). Our mission is to globally promote business start-ups launched or supported by IMD students and alumni and to foster an ecosystem to facilitate interaction, mentoring and funding for entrepreneurial businesses.
