BVC 2016 Early and Growth Stage Competition

Largest angel conference in the Pacific NW. Growth Stage applicants compete to receive upwards of $350k investment. Early Stage could receive a $15k cash prize*

The Bend Venture Conference is the signature regional event for entrepreneurial activity in the Pacific Northwest.  The major objectives of this event are to provide education, exposure and networking opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors. The event attracts over 475 attendees, many of whom come from beyond Central Oregon (40% of attendees come from outside the region).   Last year was a sellout event with over 475 attendees and investments of $947,500 making BVC the largest angel conference in the region.

BVC focuses on companies based in the Pacific Northwest. There are three tracks for competition: Early Stage, Growth Stage, and Social Impact.

• As an Early Stage company, you must be located in Central Oregon to win the prize, although companies are encouraged to apply and attend the conference capitalizing on the networking and exposure of the competition. The winning Early Stage company could be awarded a $15,000 cash prize.


• As a Growth Stage company, you do not need to be from Central Oregon to apply or to win.  The winning Growth Stage company could receive an investment which is targeted to exceed $350,000.

*Bend Venture cannot guarantee that investments will be made in any specific amount, because the final amounts to be awarded are dependent on investment commitments received from third party investors and the ability of the winning companies and the investors to agree on the terms and conditions of the investment.
