The Bend Venture Conference, held on October 19 & 20, 2023 in Bend, OR, is the signature event for entrepreneurial activity in the Pacific Northwest. The major objectives of this event are to provide exposure and investment opportunities for entrepreneurs and build an engaged community of investors in Central Oregon.

 The event attracts over 600 attendees, many of whom come from beyond Central Oregon (50% of attendees come from outside the region). Investments, awards, and prizes have totaled over $11 million in the last six years, making BVC the largest angel conference in the West.

There are three tracks for the competition: Early, Growth, and Impact.

• Growth: Generally speaking, companies that have generated at least $1M in product revenue in the last 18 months and/or have raised at least $500K in external capital including non-dilutive grants and are seeking to raise $250K-2.5MM+ in investment capital in the next 6-12 months.
• Impact: Generally speaking, companies that have generated at least $1M in product revenue in the last 18 months and/or have raised at least $500K in external capital including non-dilutive grants and are seeking to raise $250K-2.5MM+ in investment capital in the next 6-12 month. The Impact Track companies also have a social and/or environmental mission integrated into their business model such that it is a core competency and not an “add-on.”
  
• Early: Generally speaking, companies that are pre-revenue or have generated less than $1M in product revenue in the last 18 months; have raised less than $500K in external capital including non-dilutive grants; and are seeking to raise $1M or less in investment capital the next 6-12 months.

We welcome all start-ups from across the country. Given the expertise of the Central Oregon community investors, entrepreneurs with a focus on Outdoor, Food/Agriculture, Climate Resiliency, Biotech, Aviation, Software, and Tech are preferred. The magic of BVC is in the connections made and sustained, so we encourage all companies to have (or find) a tie to Oregon. It is a great place to build a company.

The BVC event information is available on the website - www.bendvc.com. All applications to BVC will be reviewed with the event in mind. The assumption is that all companies that apply to this are prepared to participate in the due diligence, have the business presented in person as a part of the Conference event, and have SAFEs (or equivalent) ready to receive investment.

*Bend Venture Conference cannot guarantee that investments will be made in any specific amount because the final amounts to be awarded are dependent on investment commitments received from third-party investors and the ability of the winning companies and the investors to agree on the terms and conditions of the investment.
