Company Summary

RHA works to collect and preserve the history and heritage of Rosman and upper Transylvania County, NC. We have a rich history that we feel is important to preserve for future generations. Part of our funding comes from in-house book sales of our books on local cemeteries and families. We offer these to our Facebook members, making our book sales nationwide. Our members and clients are those with an interest in history and genealogy.

    Dawn Jiles McCall

    Dawn has an A.A. in Advertising and Marketing and is the author of seven books on Western North Carolina history.
    She is the previous co-owner and editor of the Rosman Chronicle newspaper, the first newspaper for the town of Rosman.
    Her previous experience includes serving as a columnist and feature writer for the Transylvania Times, working as a Realtor and managing a automotive dealership.

    Dr. Paulette Glazener Lankford

    Dr. Lankford is a long time historian with roots in upper Transylvania County. She is the co-author of three books published by RHA.
    She has spent a large portion of her life helping to generate funding and set up of medical labs across the U.S.
    Dr. Lankford is also the owner of one of Transylvania County's most valuable and oldest nationally registered historic properties.

    Doyle Stubblefield
    Liasion to the Rosman Board of Aldermen

    Doyle Stubblefield currently serves on the Rosman Board of Aldermen and serves as a liaison between RHA and the board.
    He is a life long resident of the area.

    Chris Jiles McCall
    RHA Board Member

    Chris McCall serves not only as a board member, but helps to preserve properties by photographing them and with the use of video.
    He is a life long resident of the area and graduated from Rosman High School in 2003.
