Company Summary

Panda Robotics develops 3d printers which are easy-to-use, robust enough for the consumer market, affordable, beautiful and safe. We are working with Universities, schools and institutions in North American to outfit full labs of our Pandabot 3d printer to allow for designers and educators to learn and work with the technolgy so together we can bring 3d printing to the general public.

    Felix Tang

    Felix met Kelly at HackLab in Toronto and became excited about the opportunities for 3D printing.

    For the past 3 years, Felix has run Innovate LLP, focusing on IP and Business law.

    Felix has a B.ASc. in Engineering Science and an M.ASc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto as well as an L.L.B. from the University of Ottawa.

    Kelly John Rose

    Kelly got into 3D printing through hackerspaces in Toronto. The possibilities and frustrations of existing printers showed him the need for printers focused on end users.

    While a grad student at the University of Calgary, Kelly worked on robots used in high-throughpout drug testing at the Institute for Biocomplexity and Informatics.

    Kelly has run software consulting firms for the last 5 years, focusing on development of enterprise middlewar

    Lead Designer

    Liav became interested in computer assisted fabrication during his grad studies through his work in Prof. Shane Williamson's design-oriented lab that included CNC machines and 3D printers.

    Following work at architectural firms, Liav joined Philip Beesley Architect as a mechatronics designer. At Beesley, he worked on Sargasso, installed in Toronto's Brookfield Plaza, and Hylozoic Veil, an installation in The Leonardo, a museum in Salt Lake City
