Team

  • Ken founded OptiEnz Sensors in 2010 to commercialize technology that he researched over the last 15 years. He is a Professor of Biochemical Engineering at Colorado State University (a position he has held since 1988). He earned his PhD in Biochemical Engineering from Caltech. During Ken's career he has $21M of funded research, over 140 publications, and 8 patents (issued and pending).

  • Steve has extensive experience in test and measurement instrumentation, in both start-ups and large companies. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of operations and the overall strategic direction of the company. He holds a BSEE from Michigan Technological University. He was previously VP of business development for Constant Wave, VP & GM at Tektronix, president of Compressor Controls Corporation, and VP & GM at Agilent Technologies.
