International crowd funding platform launching soon in accordance with the U.S. Jobs Act securities offering provisions.
Pres. Obama has signed into law the U.S. Jobs Act, legalizing crowdfunding in startups by non-accredited investors, so that anyone can invest, subject to certain limitations. The new law stipulates that entrepreneurs can now raise money from any and all, however, startups are limited to $1 million per year, and must utilize intermediary web portals approved by the Securities & Exchange Commission. OneGlobeStreet will launch with such approval.
