Company Summary

We are a local and sustainable cafe and bakery that focuses on "real" good food fast. Featuring American favorites, interesting sandwiches, fresh baked breads, great coffee, and delicious hot fries locally sourced and served quickly in a positive environment. Our business minded clientelle will appreciate that we have done the work for them with our extensive sustainable systems and initiatives so they can get back to work with a clear mind.

    Daniel has been working as a new business and real estate entrepreneur for the last year. Before that time, Daniel taught middle school science through a rigorous program known as Chicago Teaching Fellows. Daniel received his Master's in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. He brings professional oversight, mathematical and systematic expertise, and a leadership role to this and many other projects.

    Chef, Isaac Welivér (The Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago), has had a wide range of food-service experiences spanning the United States and recently Latin America. During his time in Costa Rica he realized that food traveled from the farm to the table in a very holistic way. With local foods in mind, his mission is to help bring sustainability into Chicago’s food system, by strengthening the connections to our local resources.
