Company Summary

We are equine and counseling professionals who use our staff of 16 horses to teach Wounded Humans about fear, that results in control which causes PTSD, depression, substance abuse and other emotional problems. Then the staff helps the human to get their personal power back though the simple concept of control though 'Love' of self, the horse.and others. We serve all Wounded Humans like veterans, victims of cancer, and all kinds of abuse.

    Richard McMahon, MA, CRC, ACIII is the primary mover of this innovation. He has spent a lifetime using his creativity to find new ways to accomplish the task at hand. He coached and taught at the University of Northern Colorado. Completed his graduate work in Rehabilitation Counseling, He has owned a treatment center and been in the therapeutic community for 33 years as an educator, psychotherapist, certified addiction counselor and horseman.

    Sheri graduated in 1997 from The University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Sociology/Human Services. A recovering victim of substance abuse. She was so thought of that they sent her to 40 hours of training at North Range Behavioral Health. Also, she was hired by North Range Behavioral Health to begin work with their client that had substance abuse issues. She currently is a graduate student at Denver Seminary.

    Judy is a accomplished horse breeder. Because of her 25 years working in the legal system as Courtroom Deputy for the Chief Federal Judge in the 10th Circuit, she directs the focus of the board. Her interest in horses and the safety of the participants insures them to enjoy their experience and keep the focus on learning and change rather than letting 'fear' control them.

    Our equine staff consists of 16 horses of the Trakehner breed, a warmblood, which was bred as a 'war horse' in East Prussia 400 years ago. Our staff consists of 3 stallions, Indiana Jones, Mustafa & Maverick; and 4 geldings, Shiloh, Bert, Monte & Issac; plus 9 mares, Bath, Sierra, Georgia, Deva, freija, Natasha, Annie, Gigi & Ivy. Our staff have been foaled and raised by us and are trained therapists, seeing hundreds of humans since 2003.
