Hansen Engine Technologies, Inc.
Company seeks to sell or license its lab-tested fuel-saving "Variable Displacement Supercharger" to automotive OEM's and Tier-1 suppliers.
Automakers are downsizing car engines to meet government fuel-economy mandates. The power of these smaller engines must equal the larger engines they replace, thus requiring a turbocharger or supercharger. The Company's patented ”VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT” supercharger has been laboratory tested. The variable displacement system consumes only half the power of a conventional supercharger at the speeds and loads of the normal driving cycle.
