Today Tom is a farmer director of the dairy levy board Dairyco as well as sitting on the NFU (national farmers union) national dairy board. Winner of the Yorkshire Farm Manager of year award; finalist in Farmers Weekly Young Farmer of the year, Dairy farmer of the Future and in 2012 BBC Farmer of the Year.

    James took a Degree in Agriculture at Edinburgh University (1985). In (2005) he gained a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Strathclyde University’s Graduate School of Business. James is involved in an advisory capacity with the dairy cooperative First Milk, and he sits on the Scottish Advisory Board for the NFU Mutual insurance company, and he has recently been appointed to the Board of the dairy farmer levy body DairyCo.
