This opinion magazine publishes monthly, and is unique in adhering strictly to Catholic social teaching according to the Magisterium. Its mission is both to educate and be a transformative force. Projected customers are orthodox practicing Catholics and those seeking information on Catholic teaching in the political and social realm.

    John Goodwin Quirk

    John Quirk is an attorney who actively practiced for 26 years, mostly as a prosecutor. He has been retired since 2010, and began Christian Democracy in December of 2012. He started the magazine because he could find no lay public voice for Catholic social teaching which he believes could find beneficial application in the United States.
